Jersey’s good living and fine food enjoys a glowing reputation the world over. The island boasts an impressive range of places to eat, from country inns dishing up hearty pub grub, to beachside bistros offering simple but excellent staples as well as Michelin-starred restaurants serving gourmet dishes. Wherever you go there's a friendly welcome, and a widespread use of local produce and adventurous menus all make for a dining experience to remember.

Of course, being surrounded by water, there's plenty of seafood dishes on the menu, but if fish isn't your thing, you'll find a vast array of other dishes designed to tantalise your taste buds, including local specialities such as Jersey bean crock, black butter and teh famous Jersey Royal new potato!

There are over 170 places to eat to cater for all tastes including many ethnic restaurants including Portuguese, Italian, Indian, Chinese and of course traditional French cuisine. For a full list of establishments please see the Eating Out section on www.jersey.com.
