Located some 100 miles (160 km) south of mainland Britain, Jersey is the most southerly island of the British Isles. In fact, it's much closer to France, lying just 14 miles (22 kms) from its coast. On a clear day, you can see France and our neighbouring Channel Islands across the water!
Despite its compact size - just nine miles by five miles (14 kms by 8 kms) - Jersey possesses a rich and varied landscape, attracting visitors from all over the world.
