Natwest Island Games XVI - Jersey Island Games - a time to shine

Sports asked to observe Friday's minute's silence

Sports organisers have been asked to observe Friday's minute's silence.

The UK Prime Minister, David Cameron, asked for a minute's silence to be observed at midday on Friday 3 July, to remember the victims of the beach terrorist attack in Tunisia.

Jersey's Bailiff, William Bailhache, has asked for the island to do the same.

The organisers of each sport have now been asked to observe the minute's silence by the Organising Committee, and each is planning it into their schedules.
