Natwest Island Games XVI - Jersey Island Games - a time to shine

Fort Regent Sports Centre

Originally a Napoleonic fortress dating from 1806, the centre is Jersey’s largest leisure, conference and entertainment venue.

Situated on Mount Bingham and overlooking St Helier, Fort Regent is Jersey’s biggest leisure, conference and entertainment centre.

A former Napoleonic fortress, it now boasts two multi purpose halls – each measuring 16,000 square feet – as well as weights and fitness rooms, a large fully-equipped gym, sauna and steam facilities, squash and badminton courts, indoor shooting and archery ranges and a host of smaller areas for sports and activities such as aerobics and martial arts.

Outside, the rampart areas enclosing the 20 acre site have a series of paths offering spectacular panoramic views of the south and east coasts.
